Howard now works independently focussing on training drug workers, police, probation and young peoples’ workers . He is working with several under 18’s and Adult services developing toolkits and case management systems and training staff in using best practice approaches. Howard recently reviewed Northern Ireland’s Alcohol and Drug Strategies for the Executive. He is working with local DAATs undertaking needs assessments, conducting research around young people’s alcohol and drug use, evaluating DIPs, undertaking service reviews, preparing Under 18’s Substance Misuse services for achieving Every Child Matters outcomes and delivering training:
