Deborah Arnott is the Chief Executive of Action on Smoking and Health, (ASH) the antismoking campaigning organisation set up by the Royal College of Physicians to reduce the harm caused by tobacco. A recognised international expert on tobacco control and the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), she has a particular interest in nicotine regulation and harm reduction. She is a member of the NICE Programme Development Group on tobacco harm reduction due to report in May 2013, as well as being a civil society observer to the WHO FCTC Article 9 and 10 working group on tobacco product regulation.
